Samán’s relationship has flourished for over fifteen years; it goes back to my days as an interactive graphic design student. Under WePropagate, I collaborated and led a group of talented professionals, including illustrators, designers, copywriters, developers, and social media marketers, to build an extensive collection of work. We redesigned the Samán brand, created excellent graphics, mouth-watering Instagram content, a kickass website, and much more.

Brand Identity & Collateral

The objective was to develop a comprehensive brand identity for Saman that would serve as the launchpad for a vast universe of graphics and creative content for print and web, including food menus, plate settings, wallpaper illustrations, delivery vehicle and food truck wraps, digital signage, t-shirts, hats, water bottles, business cards, social media graphics, and much more.

During our fruitful engagement, I built two iterations of samanarepas.com and several microsites. This project was a step up on my WordPress development game by ditching a limited (at the time) _underscores starter theme and implementing Sage 8.4.2 to streamline our development process. Sage provided a solid foundation, enabling the implementation of best practices in theme development, modular CSS with SASS/SCSS, and a robust build process.

Using Git allowed for efficient collaboration among team members, ensuring version control integrity. Leveraging Git and Bitbucket Pipelines for continuous integration, I established a robust DevOps pipeline that automated the distribution of the codebase across WP Engine’s development, staging, and production environments.
